InkJet Printing to Fine-Art Papers and Canvas
Photo Craft offers inkjet printing to several fine-art papers and to canvas. Canvas prints are coated for additional protection.
Currently our favorite printer for printing to fine-art papers and canvas is the Epson 9890.
We offer printing to the following fine-art papers:
Sommerset Velvet made by St. Cuthbert’s Mill of England is the standard of excellence for printmaking papers, and the choice of artisans and printmakers worldwide. An excellent paper for fine-art archival printing inkjet printing it has a fairly bright white and is 100% cotton rag, neutral pH, and chlorine free.
Entrada Rag Bright 190 is 100% cotton smooth finish paper with a bright white surface. 190 gsm, acid free.
Hahnemuhle Bamboo is a digital fine art inkjet paper made from bamboo fibers. (90% bamboo and 10% cotton) Particularly suitable for warm-toned color and monochrome prints, Bamboo really highlights the sensuality of images.
Canvas prints are made with sufficient material around the image area to effect a standard or gallery wrap on a wood stretcher frame. See the Finishing page for wrap services.
